Tem Tacacá na Tietê – Tacacá is a dish common to the main cities in the Amazon region. At 5 o’clock everyday, people enjoy tacacá from the stalls on the streets and city squares. Tacacá is an exotic Amazonian broth prepared with tucupi (a liquid extracted from the manioc in Amazonia), jambu (an herb that provokes a light and pleasant slightly numb sensation in the tongue), tapioca paste and dried shrimp. It is eaten from a gourd, without a spoon. We love tacacá and that’s why we decided to put it on our menu and also to serve it once a month on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant and named this project
